Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM ET

Description: Many organizations rely on grants to maintain and expand their urban canopies. We all have experienced the anxiety caused by quick turn around deadlines that are becoming more and more common in this day and age. In this talk we will explore how potential grant awardees and the contractors performing work can prepare themselves for grant opportunities as they present themselves.

Presenter: Robert serves South Central Ohio as a Regional Urban Forester with ODNR Division of Forestry, a position he has held for a little over 22 years. He has an Associate’s in Forest Management from Hocking College and a Bachelor’s in Forest Resource Management with a minor in Arboriculture from West Virginia University. He has been a Certified Arborist for more than decade has worked in land management forestry, invasive species control, landowner assistance and urban forestry in both Ohio and California. In his free time, he enjoys working on projects on his property in Ross County and spending time traveling with his wife.
