Register Today

Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM ET

Description: Have you ever discovered a bird nest in a tree that you were working on, or had a bird hit your window? Join us to learn about the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and what to do in those situations. You will learn about the importance of birds and their migration and discover how arborists play a crucial role in bird conservation.

Presenter: Ashley Kloes
has a deep love for all things birds. From caring for her parrots and chickens to feeding wild birds in her yard, they’ve played a special role in her life. She holds a degree in Zoology from Kent State University, where she studied birds, animals, and ecosystems. Her passion drives her to raise awareness in the tree care community about the importance of sharing our outdoor spaces with other creatures. Ashley currently serves as the Research Coordinator for Davey Tree, working on projects related to tree diseases, products, pollinators, and other insects. She is also an ISA Certified Arborist and a licensed pesticide applicator through the Ohio Department of Agriculture.
