Tree Talk Tuesday - Big Trees & Our Role in their Preservation
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm ET
Webinar
Description: Since 1940, American Forests (a conservation organization based in Washington, D.C.) has documented the largest known specimens of every native and naturalized tree in the United States. Ohio is currently home to 16 National Champion Big Trees on the Big Trees registry. Ohio’s Big Tree Program is a voluntary endeavor to locate, measure, record, and appreciate the largest tree species in our state. In this webinar, Don will talk about the program and how arborists play a part in their preservation.
